Long Black and Americano are both very similar. The only thing which make them different are their sequences of adding espresso and hot water.
The word americano mean "American" come from the American Spanish or Italian. Americano is basically "Black Coffee". It normally mention as Kopi in most of the Asia country. Americano can be done by adding hot water to the double espresso.
Long Black
Long Black is a commonly found in Australia and New Zealand. It start by adding hot water into the cup. Double espresso is added on the hot water. Espresso is smoothly flow into the cup to allow the crema maintain on top of the coffee.
